#1 & 24: both sides of the 45; 2: The crucial "Swing For A Crime" comp had this song credited to "Art Van Dam," a real guy who did not sound like this - was happy to finally chance upon the Albert Van Dam record (and in any case, my copy sounds better!); #3 allegedly a singing burlesque performer (!?); #8 exotica master drummer Chaino recorded off a dumb movie; #12, 14, 16, 19: non-existent studio bands from budget labels; #13: the Spike Jones of the Netherlands; also in the mix: misc. clips from a 7" meant to accompany a slideshow about the Congo, and a bongo instructional record. All tracks sourced and restored by Mr Fab.
